1. About Gotrip

Gotrip is a travel financing platform that enables users in Nigeria to:

• Apply for and manage travel loans;
• Make flight bookings through partner airlines or travel agencies;
• Track loan status and repayment schedules; and
• Make early repayments where applicable.

Gotrip operates as a standalone financial technology product in partnership with licensed financial institutions in Nigeria.

2. Eligibility

To use Gotrip, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Be a resident or citizen of Nigeria;
• Have a valid means of identification (e.g., BVN, NIN, or passport); and
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information when requested.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate your access to Gotrip if we have reason to believe that the information provided is false, misleading, or violates applicable law.

3. Account Registration

You may need to create a Gotrip account to access certain features. You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials confidential;
• Promptly notify Gotrip if you suspect unauthorized access; and
• Take full responsibility for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

4. Loan Application and Approval

When you apply for a travel loan:

• You authorize Gotrip and its partner bank(s) to verify your identity, creditworthiness, and financial information.
• Approval of a loan is at the discretion of our partner financial institutions based on their internal risk and credit assessment policies.
• Loan terms, including repayment period, interest rate, and applicable fees, will be clearly stated in your loan offer before acceptance.

By accepting the loan offer, you agree to the repayment terms and conditions stated therein.

5. Loan Repayment

• You agree to make repayments in accordance with your agreed loan schedule.
• Early repayments may be allowed without penalty unless otherwise stated in your loan agreement.
• In case of default, Gotrip and its partners reserve the right to take appropriate action, including reporting to credit bureaus or initiating recovery proceedings in line with applicable Nigerian laws.

6. Use of the Platform

You agree not to:

• Use Gotrip for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes;
• Misrepresent your identity or financial status;
• Interfere with the operation of the Platform;
• Use bots, scripts, or automated systems to access Gotrip's services.

Violation of this clause may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.

7. Data Privacy and Protection

Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

8. Sharing of Information

We share your data only as necessary to deliver our services:

• Travel-related details with partner airlines and travel agencies;
• Personal and financial information with partner banks for loan processing; and

9. Fees and Charges

Certain services on Gotrip may attract fees or interest, which will be clearly displayed before you proceed. All payments are denominated in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, trademarks, and software on the Gotrip platform are the property of Gotrip or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Platform for personal purposes only.

You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of Gotrip without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law:

• Gotrip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to our services.
• All loan agreements are between you and the lending financial partner; Gotrip serves as a facilitating platform.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gotrip, its directors, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time:

• For breach of these Terms,
• For providing false or misleading information, or
• As required by law or regulatory authorities.

Upon termination, your access to Gotrip services will cease, but any outstanding obligations (such as loan repayments) will remain enforceable.

14. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve disputes amicably.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be effective once posted on our website or app, with the "Last Updated" date revised. Continued use of Gotrip after changes constitutes your acceptance.
